Pulling Toilets

Flashback to a week ago when Jack dropped some qtips in the toilet and thought that it would be ok to flush them.  Its not ok.  I plunged and plunged and snaked and snaked but nothing would clear the toilet.  I did a search and found out that swabs are just long enough to get caught up where the toilet meets the drain.  Nothing will move them.  So I wound up having to pull the toilet.  I'm not all that handy.  I compare myself to my step dad Rick who can do anything.  So comparatively I can do nothing.  Anyway, I ran to WM to get a new wax ring.  Even when they're not used they're gross.  I had to sponge all the water out of the tank and the bowl. Then I removed the old toilet, turned it over, and I'll be dad-gum if there weren't 6 swabs turned just right to block anything that wanted to flow down the drain pipe.  I called the kids in to show them why to never flush qtips, ceremoniously removed them, and commenced to replace the toilet.  Now you're probably expecting this story to get worse.  Actually it doesn't until two posts ago.  I was really feeling manly because I was able to remove, clear, and replace a toilet and have it actually work again!  But my toilet triumph wasn't destined to be long lived...
