Filled With Cheese

One time we were all sitting in the living room listening to music on somebody's ipod.  Mommy and I were debating about who was better about deciphering lyrics.  I think Mommy is the best.  She can hear what Elton John is saying, and he just sounds like mush to me.  Anyway, we were listening to the song Tall Cool One by Robert Plant.  One of the lines is "cause you're a tall, cool one and I'm built to please."  Since we were in lyric deciphering mode we asked John Paul what he thought the song said at that point.  He listened and said, "I'm your tall cool one and I'm filled with cheese!"

Divine Mercy

Maybe you know that we (the Church) began the Novena to the Divine Mercy on Good Friday.  The novena (9 days of prayers) will end on Divine Mercy Sunday, the Sunday after Easter.  Because of my strange Easter sleeping anomaly, we missed the 3rd day. Doh!  We went to say our prayers last night and the kids didn't want to sit or kneel on the floor because of the recent flooding.  I can't blame them.  This carpet thing is going to be a problem.  Kyrie Eleison!

I'm So Tired

Yesterday Kim and John and Fiona came over for Easter.  We had hamburgers and deviled eggs and stuff like that.  I don't know why, but I was falling asleep at the table!  I couldn't stay awake.  I went downstairs to take a little nap and wound up sleeping for more than four hours!  I didn't get to say bye to Kim and John, I missed the kids coloring eggs.  I feel like such a slug.  What happened to me?  I just started taking thyroid medication.  Not much at all.  That should make me feel peppier I would think. What is going on?  I don't know, today is a weird day anyway.
